Introduction

GetSwarms Ltd recognises that our corporate and social responsibility (CSR) is central to our values and operations and expresses our commitment to our stakeholders – customers, employees, suppliers, the community, and the environment. We recognise that our social, economic, and environmental responsibilities are integral to our business. We aim to demonstrate these responsibilities through our actions and our corporate policies.

We align our business values, purpose, and strategy with the needs of our clients, embedding responsible and ethical principles into everything we do. We promote public service engagement and invite employee contributions to social and environmental initiatives.

The operational and ultimate responsibility for CSR lies with the Directors of GetSwarms Ltd. All employees, consultants, and suppliers are expected to support and uphold this policy in their activities. This policy will be reviewed at least annually to ensure compliance with legislation and evolving business needs.

  • We regularly benchmark our performance to maintain and enhance our competitive edge and service quality.

  • All contracts clearly outline agreed terms, responsibilities, and expectations, ensuring a fair and ethical business relationship that protects the interests of both parties.

Local Community Engagement

We are committed in making a positive impact in the communities where we operate. Our approach to community engagement includes:

  • Actively encouraging our employees to participate in volunteer work and local community initiatives.

  • Partnering with and supporting local schools through educational outreach, digital literacy initiatives, and career development activities.

  • Supporting local fundraising events and charitable efforts that benefit the wider community.

Charitable Involvement

Each year, GetSwarms staff nominate a 'Charity of the Year' to support through fundraising activities. These may include:

- Charity raffles and bake sales
- Volunteering for community and accessibility projects

 

Environment

We commit to environmental stewardship by:

  • Supporting remote work and green hosting solutions

  • Minimising our carbon footprint

  • Complying with environmental legislation

  • Promoting recycling, energy efficiency, and sustainability

We also encourage environmental awareness across our teams by integrating eco-conscious practices into our day-to-day operations. This includes promoting low-impact commuting, reducing paper usage through digital-first workflows, and selecting suppliers who meet environmental and carbon reduction standards. We believe small, consistent actions can contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable future.

 

Policy Ownership

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is the owner of this policy and is responsible for reviewing it in line with legislation and best practice.
